55 WHEREAS, Members and alumni of Leadership Friendswood
66 contribute immeasurably throughout their region as civic leaders

88 WHEREAS, Sponsored by the Friendswood Chamber of Commerce,
99 this exceptional program provides opportunities for participants
1010 to increase their knowledge of vital public issues and
1111 infrastructure; and
1212 WHEREAS, Classes inspire the spirit of activism and provide a
1313 diverse membership with information regarding local government,
1414 economic development, and social needs; and
1515 WHEREAS, Through its efforts to build a more informed and
1616 involved citizenry and to develop new leaders, Leadership
1717 Friendswood is helping to create a brighter and more promising
1818 future for the Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it
1919 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2020 Legislature hereby commend Leadership Friendswood for its
2121 promotion of civic leadership and volunteerism and extend to its
2222 participants sincere best wishes for continued success and
2323 achievement; and, be it further
2424 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2525 prepared for the group as an expression of high regard by the Texas
2626 House of Representatives.
