5	5	WHEREAS, Peter Tan of Houston is celebrating his 56th
6	6	birthday on March 21, 2009, and this happy event is indeed worthy of
7	7	special recognition; and
8	8	WHEREAS, Retired from his medical supply distribution
9	9	business, Mr. Tan is a full-time volunteer with the Knights of
10	10	Columbus, the world's largest Catholic fraternal organization; and
11	11	WHEREAS, He also serves as a precinct chair, a role that has
12	12	enabled him to contribute to his fellow residents while helping to
13	13	strengthen the Lone Star State's representative form of government;
14	14	and
15	15	WHEREAS, In all of his endeavors, Mr. Tan has benefited from
16	16	the loving support of his wife, Selina; and
17	17	WHEREAS, Peter Tan has given generously of his time and
18	18	talents to the work of building an even stronger community, and his
19	19	birthday provides a fitting opportunity to recognize his efforts in
20	20	behalf of the Sharpstown community and all who call it home; now,
21	21	therefore, be it
22	22	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
23	23	Legislature hereby warmly congratulate Peter Tan on his 56th
24	24	birthday and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
25	25	success and happiness; and, be it further
26	26	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
27	27	prepared for Mr. Tan as an expression of high regard by the Texas
28	28	House of Representatives.
