44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of
66 Castleman Andrews III of Round Rock, who died on January 20, 2009,
77 at the age of 61; and
88 WHEREAS, Cas Andrews was born in Greenville on September 12,
99 1947, the son of Castleman Mazyck Andrews, Jr., and Bernice Lee
1010 Henson Andrews; Mr. Andrews had worked for the Better Business
1111 Bureau, and at the time of his death, he was a district manager of
1212 the Texas Restaurant Association; and
1313 WHEREAS, Known for his warmhearted personality and his sense
1414 of humor, Mr. Andrews took great pleasure in meeting people and
1515 making new friends; he enjoyed saltwater fishing and golf, and he
1616 was an avid fan of college football; and
1717 WHEREAS, An individual who brightened the lives of many
1818 people, Cas Andrews will long be remembered with great admiration
1919 and affection by all who knew and loved him; now, therefore, be it
2020 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2121 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Castleman Andrews III
2222 and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
2323 son, Lee Andrews; to his brothers, Robie Andrews and his wife,
2424 Carolyn, and Bill Andrews; and to his other relatives and friends;
2525 and, be it further
2626 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2727 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
2828 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in honor of Cas Andrews.
