H.R. No. 944
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, February 11, 2009, was indeed a special day in the
lives of Stephen Ivey Damiani and Chen Sara Xie, for on that day
they became the proud parents of a darling baby boy, Stephen Shay Li
Damiani; and
WHEREAS, Their handsome son weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces and
measured 21-3/4 inches in length when he was born on this momentous
February day; and
WHEREAS, His long-awaited arrival has brought great joy to
his mother and father, as well as to his grandparents, Victor and
Judy Damiani and Charlie and Shiyan Xie; and
WHEREAS, Stephen Shay Li will surely thrive in the loving
embrace of his parents, extended family, and friends--a circle that
will treasure and nurture this fine young Texan with all the
devotion that he deserves; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Stephen Ivey Damiani and Chen Sara
Xie on the birth of their cherished son and extend to Stephen Shay
Li Damiani warmest best wishes for a bright and promising future;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the family as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
