9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 1701.401(f), Occupations Code, is | |
11 | 11 | amended to read as follows: | |
12 | 12 | (f) The commission may present awards relating to not more | |
13 | 13 | than a total of 20 incidents and accomplishments [awards] each | |
14 | 14 | year. | |
15 | 15 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
16 | 16 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
17 | 17 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
18 | 18 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
19 | 19 | Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
