O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB1373 by Lucio (Relating to the operation and continuation of the law authorizing the issuance of oversize or overweight vehicle permits by certain port authorities.), Committee Report 2nd House, Substituted    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) indicates that the provisions of the bill would only apply to an agreement between the department and the Brownsville Navigation District. Based on the analysis of TxDOT, it is assumed the provisions of the bill would not result in a significant impact to the operations of the department or to revenues deposited to the State Highway Fund. Local Government Impact Because the bill would not have statewide impact on units of local government of the same type or class, no comment from this office is required by the rules of the House/Senate as to its probable fiscal implication on units of local government.
