5	5	relating to the travel, board, and lodging expenses of a person
6	6	appointed to assist the State Commission on Judicial Conduct.
7	7	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
8	8	SECTION 1. The heading to Section 33.004, Government Code,
9	9	is amended to read as follows:
10	10	Sec. 33.004. COMPENSATION AND EXPENSES OF COMMISSION
11	11	MEMBERS, [AND] SPECIAL MASTERS, AND OTHER EMPLOYEES.
12	12	SECTION 2. Subsection (d), Section 33.004, Government Code,
13	13	is amended to read as follows:
14	14	(d) A member or employee of the commission, special counsel,
15	15	or any other person appointed by the commission to assist the
16	16	commission in performing the duties of the commission, or a special
17	17	master is entitled to necessary expenses for travel, board, and
18	18	lodging incurred in the performance of official duties.
19	19	SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
