A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the regulation of certain water wells by the Brewster
County Groundwater Conservation District.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 5, Chapter 1291, Acts of the 77th
Legislature, Regular Session, 2001, is amended by adding Subsection
(d) to read as follows:
(d) Section 36.121, Water Code, does not apply to the
district.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
