 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 AN ACT
 relating to the sale of certain alcoholic beverages to certain
 private club registration permit holders.
 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
 SECTION 1. Chapter 19, Alcoholic Beverage Code, is amended
 by adding Section 19.011 to read as follows:
 Sec. 19.011.  SALE TO CERTAIN PERMIT HOLDERS. The holder of
 a wholesaler's permit may sell ale, malt liquor, or wine to a
 private club registration permit holder whose premises are located
 in an area where the sale of the ale, malt liquor, or wine has been
 authorized.
 SECTION 2. Chapter 20, Alcoholic Beverage Code, is amended
 by adding Section 20.011 to read as follows:
 Sec. 20.011.  SALE TO CERTAIN PERMIT HOLDERS. The holder of
 a general class B wholesaler's permit may sell ale, malt liquor, or
 wine to a private club registration permit holder whose premises
 are located in an area where the sale of the ale, malt liquor, or
 wine has been authorized.
 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
 Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
