| 11 | 11 | (2) "Eligible institution" means a general academic | |
| 12 | 12 | teaching institution, as defined by Section 61.003, other than The | |
| 13 | 13 | University of Texas at Austin or[,] Texas A&M University[, or | |
| 14 | 14 | Prairie View A&M University]. | |
| 15 | 15 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
| 16 | 16 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
| 17 | 17 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
| 18 | 18 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
| 19 | 19 | Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
