Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. Current law provides school districts with the discretion to consider certain mitigating factors when the district determines certain forms of punishment for a student.  Since this bill would require districts to consider these factors, some district costs could arise related to the documentation of such factors.
