A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the naming of the Texas Department of Public Safety
Garland Laboratory in Garland as the Representative Fred Hill
Center for Forensic Analysis.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 411, Government Code, is
amended by adding Section 411.0206 to read as follows:
Sec. 411.0206. REPRESENTATIVE FRED HILL CENTER FOR FORENSIC
ANALYSIS. The Texas Department of Public Safety Garland Laboratory
located at the Department of Public Safety Regional Headquarters in
Garland is named the Representative Fred Hill Center for Forensic
Analysis in honor of former Texas State Representative Fred Hill.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
