66 AN ACT
77 relating to a report on use of money from the Texas Enterprise Fund.
88 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
99 SECTION 1. Section 481.079(a), Government Code, is amended
1010 to read as follows:
1111 (a) Before the beginning of each regular session of the
1212 legislature, the governor shall submit to the lieutenant governor,
1313 the speaker of the house of representatives, and each other member
1414 of the legislature a report on grants made under Section 481.078
1515 that states:
1616 (1) the number of direct jobs each recipient committed
1717 to create in this state;
1818 (2) the number of direct jobs each recipient created
1919 in this state;
2020 (3) the median wage of the jobs each recipient created
2121 in this state;
2222 (4) [the amount of capital investment each recipient
2323 committed to expend or allocate per project in this state;
2424 [(5) the amount of capital investment each recipient
2525 expended or allocated per project in this state;
2626 [(6)] the total amount of grants made to each
2727 recipient;
2828 (5) [(7)] the average amount of money granted in this
2929 state for each job created in this state by grant recipients;
3030 (6) [(8)] the number of jobs created in this state by
3131 grant recipients in each sector of the North American Industry
3232 Classification System (NAICS); [and]
3333 (7) [(9)] the total amount of tax credits, local
3434 incentives, and other money or credits distributed to each
3535 recipient by governmental entities of this state;
3636 (8) the percentage of money granted to recipients with
3737 fewer than 100 employees;
3838 (9) the geographical distribution of grants by county;
3939 (10) the effect of grants on employment, personal
4040 income, and capital investment in this state and in each regional
4141 planning commission area; and
4242 (11) [of] the number of [direct] jobs each recipient
4343 created in this state[, the number of positions created] that
4444 provide full health benefits for employees.
4545 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
