99 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1010 SECTION 1. Section 531.048, Government Code, is amended by
1111 adding Subsection (d-1) to read as follows:
1212 (d-1) Notwithstanding Subsection (d), the Department of
1313 Family and Protective Services shall ensure that the average
1414 caseload for caseworkers in the child protective services division
1515 allows each child in the department's conservatorship to be visited
1616 by the child's caseworker at least one time each month.
1717 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
