| 12 | 12 | (c) The evidence of financial responsibility must cover the | |
| 13 | 13 | one-year [two-year] period immediately following the date the | |
| 14 | 14 | defendant applies for release of the impounded vehicle. | |
| 15 | 15 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
