The bill would amend the Government Code to add procedures to the requirements involved in assigning a judge to hear a case in a statutory probate court when a judge is recused or disqualified. The same compensation would apply to a judge otherwise assigned under statute, except that the assigned judge would be required to provide certain information. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
