The bill would amend various sections of the Government Code relating to procedures for assigning judges to replace a recused or disqualified statutory probate court judge, and court procedures, including powers of a statutory probate court associate judge and requiring the use of a court reporter when an associate judge presides over a jury trial. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
