10 | 10 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Section 51.034, Labor Code, is amended to read as | |
12 | 12 | follows: | |
13 | 13 | Sec. 51.034. INJUNCTION: ATTORNEY GENERAL'S ACTION. (a) | |
14 | 14 | In this section, "sexually oriented business" has the meaning | |
15 | 15 | assigned by Section 243.002, Local Government Code. | |
16 | 16 | (b) The attorney general may seek injunctive relief in | |
17 | 17 | district court against an employer other than a sexually oriented | |
18 | 18 | business who repeatedly violates the requirements established by | |
19 | 19 | this chapter relating to the employment of children. | |
20 | 20 | (c) The attorney general may seek injunctive relief in | |
21 | 21 | district court against a sexually oriented business on a first or | |
22 | 22 | subsequent violation by the business of the requirements | |
23 | 23 | established by this chapter relating to the employment of children. | |
24 | 24 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
