| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 481.078, Government Code, is amended by | |
| 11 | 11 | adding Subsection (m) to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (m) At least 20 percent of the total amount of grants made | |
| 13 | 13 | from the fund must be to fund the establishment and expansion of | |
| 14 | 14 | enterprises in this state that have as their primary purpose the | |
| 15 | 15 | provision of energy derived from renewable energy technology, as | |
| 16 | 16 | defined by Section 39.904(d), Utilities Code. | |
| 17 | 17 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
