SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 103 In Memory of Stephanie Anne Siebert WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and commemorates the life of Stephanie Anne Siebert, who died December 27, 2008, at the age of 58; and WHEREAS, Stephanie Siebert was born in Commerce on October 18, 1950; she earned a bachelor's degree from Texas State University and a master's degree from Our Lady of the Lake University; and WHEREAS, She had retired after 30 years as an educator with the Harlandale Independent School District, where she played a valuable role in the lives of thousands of young people, nurturing their minds with the knowledge and skills they needed to find their place in society; and WHEREAS, She was well known for her charm, her kindness, and her enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest; and WHEREAS, Stephanie Siebert was a dearly loved daughter and sister, and she leaves behind memories that will be treasured for years to come; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved family of Stephanie Anne Siebert: her mother, Wilma Siebert; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Janet Siebert and Keith and Linda Siebert; and her nieces and nephews; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Stephanie Anne Siebert.
