| 3 | 3 | | recognize El Maida Shrine Temple in El Paso on the grand occasion |

| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, El Maida Shrine is a fraternity based on fun, |

| 6 | 6 | | fellowship, and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | relief, and truth; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Shriners are legendary for their humanitarian |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | mission, the Shriners Hospitals for Children; renowned as the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | "World's Greatest Philanthropy," it is a unique international |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | health care system of 22 hospitals dedicated to improving the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | lives of children by providing specialty pediatric care, |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | innovative research, and outstanding teaching programs; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, El Maida Shriners contribute their valuable time |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | and talents to a variety of events throughout the year that raise |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | awareness about the Shriners fraternity and its noble mission; |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Shriners affiliated with El Maida Shrine Temple |

| 19 | 19 | | embrace the spirit, enthusiasm, and principles of fraternity and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | philanthropy, and they deserve recognition for their support of |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | the El Paso community and the Shriners hospitals; now, therefore, |

| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st |

| 24 | 24 | | Legislature, hereby congratulate the members of El Maida Shrine |
