1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1055
2	2	WHEREAS, Michael Seth Sweatt of Troop 6 in Brownsville has
3	3	recently been honored by the Boy Scouts of America for attaining
4	4	the rank of Eagle Scout, a rank achieved by only five out of every
5	5	100 boys in the program; and
6	6	WHEREAS, This fine young man displayed outstanding
7	7	leadership through the planning and execution of a service
8	8	project that has benefited his community; and
9	9	WHEREAS, Seth advanced through the ranks of Tenderfoot,
10	10	Second, First, Star, and Life classes before reaching the rank of
11	11	Eagle Scout by following the principles of the Scout oath and
12	12	promise; and
13	13	WHEREAS, By becoming an Eagle Scout, this personable young
14	14	man has brought great distinction to himself, his family, his
15	15	troop, his community, and his state; and
16	16	WHEREAS, Seth is an exceptional representative of the
17	17	State of Texas and a sterling example to all who have the good
18	18	fortune to know him; now, therefore, be it
19	19	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
20	20	Legislature, hereby commend Michael Seth Sweatt on earning the
21	21	rank of Eagle Scout and congratulate him on his great
22	22	achievement; and, be it further
23	23	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
24	24	Eagle Scout Sweatt as an expression of high regard from the Texas
25	25	Senate.
