1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1056
2	2	WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and
3	3	promise, Luis Zaragosa of Troop 53 in Bishop advanced through the
4	4	ranks of Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star, and Life classes before
5	5	recently attaining the rank of Eagle Scout; and
6	6	WHEREAS, In receiving the coveted Eagle Badge, this fine
7	7	young man has become one of the select few to achieve this
8	8	distinguished honor; and
9	9	WHEREAS, By conducting a service project that allowed him
10	10	to exercise his leadership abilities, Luis has completed the
11	11	requirements for becoming an Eagle Scout and has at the same time
12	12	benefited his community; and
13	13	WHEREAS, This personable young man has brought great honor
14	14	to himself, his family, and his troop in joining the elite corps
15	15	of Eagle Scouts; and
16	16	WHEREAS, Luis is truly a shining example to his troop and
17	17	to the young people of Texas; now, therefore, be it
18	18	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
19	19	Legislature, hereby commend Luis Zaragosa on earning the rank of
20	20	Eagle Scout and congratulate him on his outstanding achievement;
21	21	and, be it further
22	22	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
23	23	Eagle Scout Zaragosa as an expression of high regard from the
24	24	Texas Senate.
