| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Alyssa Marie Zamarripa for her exemplary work as an |

| 4 | 4 | | intern in the office of Senator Kel Seliger; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, A student at the Liberal Arts and Science Academy |

| 6 | 6 | | at Lyndon B. Johnson High School, Alyssa has performed many |

| 7 | 7 | | valuable services for the constituents of District 31 and our |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | state during her internship in Senator Seliger's office; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Alyssa is a high achiever who pursues her goals |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | with perseverance and a clear vision of her future; she actively |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | seeks to expand her horizons, achieve success, and make a positive |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | difference in her community by participating in such school and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | community activities as Spanish Club, the C5 Group, LBJ Cares, the |

| 14 | 14 | | Gay-Straight Alliance Club, Con Mi Madre, and band, where she |

| 15 | 15 | | serves as historian and trumpet section leader; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Noted for her professionalism and strong work |

| 17 | 17 | | ethic, Alyssa sets high standards for herself and has worked |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | diligently to carry out her responsibilities in the senator's |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | office; she is truly deserving of recognition for her valuable |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | service during the legislative session; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st |

| 22 | 22 | | Legislature, hereby commend Alyssa Marie Zamarripa on her |

| 23 | 23 | | contributions as an intern in the office of Senator Kel Seliger |

| 24 | 24 | | and extend to her best wishes for success in the future; and, be |
