|---|
| 11 | 11 | | the necessity of requesting a decision from the attorney general |

| 13 | 13 | | employee to be withheld if disclosure would pose a substantial |

| 19 | 19 | | is amended by adding Section 552.151 to read as follows: |

| 20 | 20 | | Sec. 552.151. EXCEPTION: PUBLIC EMPLOYEE OR OFFICER |

| 21 | 21 | | PERSONAL SAFETY. Information in the custody of a governmental |

| 22 | 22 | | body that relates to an employee or officer of the governmental |

| 23 | 23 | | body is excepted from the requirements of Section 552.021 if, |

| 24 | 24 | | under the specific circumstances pertaining to the employee or |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | officer, disclosure of the information would subject the |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | employee or officer to a substantial threat of physical harm. |

| 27 | 27 | | Explanation: This addition is necessary to amend the |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | public information law to allow information relating to a public |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | officer or public employee to be withheld from disclosure if |
