| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Throughout its history, Greater New Hope has |

| 6 | 6 | | provided its members with myriad opportunities for spiritual |

| 7 | 7 | | growth and fellowship, and the new Family Life Center will enable |

| 8 | 8 | | the church to even better serve the community; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The congregation has benefited from the able |

| 10 | 10 | | leadership of a number of dedicated pastors, and today that |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | tradition of service continues under the direction of Dr. William |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Henry King III; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Sustained by a common purpose, warm fellowship, |

| 14 | 14 | | and inspired teaching, the members of Greater New Hope have |

| 15 | 15 | | remained steadfast in their faith and in their ministry to the |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | world around them, and it is a pleasure to join in commemorating |

| 17 | 17 | | this special milestone in the life of their church; now, |

| 19 | 19 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st |
