11 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 12
22 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
33 recognize Judith A. House, who retired from the Office of the
44 Comptroller of Public Accounts on December 31, 2008, after many
55 years of outstanding service with the state; and
66 WHEREAS, Judith began her career in state service with the
77 Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, where she served for 15
88 years; she began working at the Office of the Comptroller of
99 Public Accounts in January of 1994; and
1010 WHEREAS, Throughout her career, Judith has been noted for
1111 her superior auditing expertise and her organizational strength;
1212 her skill in performing mixed beverage audits and in verifying
1313 requests for refunds made her an invaluable member of the San
1414 Antonio Audit Office; and
1515 WHEREAS, Talented and resourceful, Judith has handled her
1616 many responsibilities with exceptional efficiency and dedication;
1717 and
1818 WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, Judith is respected
1919 and admired by her colleagues, and her presence at the Office of
2020 the Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly missed; now,
2121 therefore, be it
2222 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
2323 Legislature, hereby commend Judith A. House on her exceptional
2424 service to the people of Texas as a valued employee of the Office
2525 of the Comptroller of Public Accounts; and, be it further
2626 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
2727 her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
