| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Judith A. House, who retired from the Office of the |

| 4 | 4 | | Comptroller of Public Accounts on December 31, 2008, after many |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | years of outstanding service with the state; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Judith began her career in state service with the |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, where she served for 15 |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | years; she began working at the Office of the Comptroller of |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Public Accounts in January of 1994; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Throughout her career, Judith has been noted for |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | her superior auditing expertise and her organizational strength; |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | her skill in performing mixed beverage audits and in verifying |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | requests for refunds made her an invaluable member of the San |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Antonio Audit Office; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Talented and resourceful, Judith has handled her |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | many responsibilities with exceptional efficiency and dedication; |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, Judith is respected |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | and admired by her colleagues, and her presence at the Office of |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | the Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly missed; now, |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | therefore, be it |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Legislature, hereby commend Judith A. House on her exceptional |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | service to the people of Texas as a valued employee of the Office |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | of the Comptroller of Public Accounts; and, be it further |

| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
