1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 123
2	2	WHEREAS, Blage Y. C. Ledbetter, of Troop 604, Sam Houston
3	3	Area Council in Houston, is being honored by the Boy Scout
4	4	program for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout; and
5	5	WHEREAS, Blage planned, developed, and conducted a service
6	6	project that benefited his community; he organized volunteers
7	7	for cleaning up and gardening in the historic Olivewood Cemetery;
8	8	and
9	9	WHEREAS, Blage has brought great honor to himself in
10	10	earning the coveted Eagle Badge, and his family, his troop, his
11	11	community, and his state are justly proud of his great
12	12	accomplishment; and
13	13	WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and
14	14	promise, this personable young man advanced through the ranks of
15	15	Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star, and Life classes before
16	16	reaching Eagle Scout; and
17	17	WHEREAS, Blage has become one of the select few who have
18	18	earned this prestigious honor, and he is a shining example to the
19	19	young people of Texas; now, therefore, be it
20	20	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
21	21	Legislature, hereby congratulate Blage Y. C. Ledbetter on
22	22	becoming an Eagle Scout and commend him on this great
23	23	achievement; and, be it further
24	24	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
25	25	Eagle Scout Ledbetter as an expression of high regard from the
26	26	Texas Senate.
