SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 222
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize the Northwest Metroport Chamber of Commerce on the
occasion of its 20th anniversary; and
WHEREAS, Established in 1988 as the Roanoke Chamber of
Commerce, this outstanding organization grew to encompass the
nearby communities of Trophy Club, Westlake, Haslet, Northlake,
and Justin; and
WHEREAS, The Northwest Metroport Chamber of Commerce has
skillfully served as an advocate of the business interests of
these communities, promoting the economic attributes of this
vibrant region and encouraging growth in all sectors of the
economy; and
WHEREAS, The spirit of collaboration engendered by the
cooperation of these six communities provides many benefits to
them all; this impressive organization is truly deserving of
recognition for its outstanding service and many
accomplishments; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
Legislature, hereby commend the Northwest Metroport Chamber of
Commerce on its exemplary service to the communities under its
purview; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
this exceptional organization as an expression of esteem from the
Texas Senate.
