1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 222
2	2	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
3	3	recognize the Northwest Metroport Chamber of Commerce on the
4	4	occasion of its 20th anniversary; and
5	5	WHEREAS, Established in 1988 as the Roanoke Chamber of
6	6	Commerce, this outstanding organization grew to encompass the
7	7	nearby communities of Trophy Club, Westlake, Haslet, Northlake,
8	8	and Justin; and
9	9	WHEREAS, The Northwest Metroport Chamber of Commerce has
10	10	skillfully served as an advocate of the business interests of
11	11	these communities, promoting the economic attributes of this
12	12	vibrant region and encouraging growth in all sectors of the
13	13	economy; and
14	14	WHEREAS, The spirit of collaboration engendered by the
15	15	cooperation of these six communities provides many benefits to
16	16	them all; this impressive organization is truly deserving of
17	17	recognition for its outstanding service and many
18	18	accomplishments; now, therefore, be it
19	19	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
20	20	Legislature, hereby commend the Northwest Metroport Chamber of
21	21	Commerce on its exemplary service to the communities under its
22	22	purview; and, be it further
23	23	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
24	24	this exceptional organization as an expression of esteem from the
25	25	Texas Senate.
