1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 279
2	2	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the
3	3	citizens of Port Isabel in congratulating Ronald Paul Camacho of
4	4	Boy Scout Troop 59, who recently achieved the rank of Eagle
5	5	Scout; and
6	6	WHEREAS, This outstanding young man has brought honor to
7	7	himself, his family, his troop, his community, and his state in
8	8	earning the coveted Eagle Badge; and
9	9	WHEREAS, Ronald completed a service project that required
10	10	him to exercise his leadership abilities and at the same time
11	11	benefit his community; he was responsible for the construction of
12	12	a trellis and bench at the South Padre Island Convention Centre;
13	13	and
14	14	WHEREAS, Few are privileged to be named among the ranks of
15	15	the elite corps of Eagle Scouts; only five out of every 100 Boy
16	16	Scouts earn this distinguished honor; and
17	17	WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and
18	18	promise, Ronald advanced from Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star,
19	19	and Life classes to Eagle Scout; he is truly an exemplary citizen
20	20	of the State of Texas; now, therefore, be it
21	21	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
22	22	Legislature, hereby congratulate Ronald Paul Camacho on
23	23	attaining the rank of Eagle Scout and commend him on this great
24	24	achievement; and, be it further
25	25	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
26	26	Eagle Scout Camacho as an expression of esteem from the
27	27	Texas Senate.
