| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure in |

| 3 | 3 | | recognizing Theressa Bilger, who is retiring after 21 years of |

| 4 | 4 | | loyal service with the North Richland Hills Police Department; |

| 5 | 5 | | and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Terri Bilger joined the North Richland Hills |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | Police Department on January 13, 1988, as a police records |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | technician; in 1996, she was selected to join the newly created |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Professional Standards Division; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, In this division, she was responsible for |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | processing and maintaining salary and personnel records on all |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | police employees; she continued to work in this position for 10 |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | years, and was then assigned to her most recent position, as an |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | administrative technician in the Office of the Chief of Police; |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Throughout her career, Terri skillfully handled |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | her many responsibilities and was noted for her dedication and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | reliability; she has received numerous commendations and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | certificates of appreciation in recognition of her distinguished |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | service; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, Terri Bilger is |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | beloved and respected by her colleagues at work, and her presence |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | in the North Richland Hills Police Department will be greatly |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | missed; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | Legislature, hereby commend Theressa Bilger on her many years of |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | outstanding service with the North Richland Hills Police |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Department and extend to her best wishes for the future; and, be |
