| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize members of the class of 1959 of Brownwood High School, |

| 4 | 4 | | who are gathering May 1 through 3, 2009, to celebrate the 50th |

| 5 | 5 | | anniversary of their graduation; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The reunion is an opportunity for the Brownwood |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | High School class of 1959 to reminisce about the many high school |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | adventures they shared and the reunion activities of years past; |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, By coming together to celebrate at their reunion, |

| 11 | 11 | | the members of the class of 1959 are expressing their longtime |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | commitment to tradition, unity, and loyal friendship; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, The students of the class of 1959 became leaders |

| 14 | 14 | | and productive members of their communities, and they deserve to |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | be proud of their many successful endeavors; now, therefore, be |

| 17 | 17 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st |

| 18 | 18 | | Legislature, hereby commend the members of the Brownwood High |

| 19 | 19 | | School class of 1959 for their many accomplishments and extend to |

| 20 | 20 | | them best wishes for a joyful and rewarding reunion celebration; |
