                    SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 436
 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
 recognize Brennan Kale Mohrer on the auspicious occasion of his
 eighth birthday, on March 16, 2009; and
 WHEREAS, The son of Katrina Borchers Mohrer and Mauro
 Mohrer, Brennan is also the nephew of Senator Judith Zaffirini,
 and he is celebrating his birthday by providing his valuable
 services to our state as a Senate page; and
 WHEREAS, A birthday is a momentous event in the life of a
 boy, and Brennan has chosen to spend this special day in the best
 of company; and
 WHEREAS, Brennan is a very thoughtful and caring brother to
 his twin sisters, and he is the source of much pride for his
 family, including his grandparents, Celita Pappas Borchers and
 Guitta and Fischel Mohrer; and
 WHEREAS, Brennan has many interests; he enjoys sports and
 plays on the team at school, and his explorations as a Cub Scout
 have taken him to the USS Lexington and to NASA, the National
 Aeronautics and Space Administration, in Houston; and
 WHEREAS, Having acknowledged Spiderman as his hero,
 Brennan has clearly demonstrated his unassailable judgment,
 which will surely help him go far in life; and
 WHEREAS, On his birthday, Brennan looks forward to a bright
 future as he enters a new and exciting phase in his life; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
 Legislature, hereby commend Brennan Kale Mohrer and extend to him
 best wishes for a happy and memorable eighth birthday; and, be it
 further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
