| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Brennan Kale Mohrer on the auspicious occasion of his |

| 4 | 4 | | eighth birthday, on March 16, 2009; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The son of Katrina Borchers Mohrer and Mauro |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | Mohrer, Brennan is also the nephew of Senator Judith Zaffirini, |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | and he is celebrating his birthday by providing his valuable |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | services to our state as a Senate page; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A birthday is a momentous event in the life of a |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | boy, and Brennan has chosen to spend this special day in the best |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | of company; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Brennan is a very thoughtful and caring brother to |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | his twin sisters, and he is the source of much pride for his |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | family, including his grandparents, Celita Pappas Borchers and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Guitta and Fischel Mohrer; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Brennan has many interests; he enjoys sports and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | plays on the team at school, and his explorations as a Cub Scout |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | have taken him to the USS Lexington and to NASA, the National |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Aeronautics and Space Administration, in Houston; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Having acknowledged Spiderman as his hero, |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Brennan has clearly demonstrated his unassailable judgment, |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | which will surely help him go far in life; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, On his birthday, Brennan looks forward to a bright |

| 24 | 24 | | future as he enters a new and exciting phase in his life; now, |

| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st |
