SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 47
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize the members of the 2009 graduating class of Natalia
High School for their many achievements and to welcome them to
the State Capitol on January 27, 2009; and
WHEREAS, Recognizing that educational excellence is the
key to their prosperity and success, these young men and women
have established and pursued their goals with perseverance and a
clear vision of the future; and
WHEREAS, These young scholars have applied to an array of
institutions of higher learning so that they may continue to
further the development begun by the hard work and dedication of
the faculty and staff of Natalia High School, who have inspired
in them a lifelong love of learning; and
WHEREAS, The notable accomplishments and impressive
ambition of these students bear witness to their dedication and
their outstanding abilities; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
Legislature, hereby commend the members of the 2009 graduating
class of Natalia High School on their hard work and commitment
and extend to them a heartfelt welcome to the State Capitol; and,
be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
them as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
