SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 473
WHEREAS, January 27, 2009, marked a special milestone in
the lives of the Reverend Marcus Cosby and Audrey Cosby of
Houston, for on that day they became the proud parents of a new
baby girl, Aliyah Marie Cosby; and
WHEREAS, This charming bundle of joy weighed 8 pounds, 11
ounces, when she made her long-awaited arrival at Woman's
Hospital of Texas; and
WHEREAS, Aliyah's birth has brought great happiness to her
parents, as well as to her big brothers, Matthew and Marcus II,
and her big sisters, Adrienne and Ashley, who had the privilege
of naming their baby sister; and
WHEREAS, Aliyah Marie will surely thrive in the loving
embrace of her adoring family, who will undoubtedly treasure and
nurture this fine young Texan with all the devotion that she
deserves; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
Legislature, hereby congratulate the Reverend Marcus Cosby and
Audrey Cosby on the birth of their daughter, Aliyah Marie Cosby,
and extend to them sincere best wishes for a bright and promising
future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
prepared for the Cosby family as an expression of high regard
from the Texas Senate.
