| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | designate April 1, 2009, as Robson Ranch Women's Club Day at the |

| 4 | 4 | | State Capitol and extend a warm welcome to the women from Robson |

| 5 | 5 | | Ranch who have joined us today; and |

| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The Women's Club is part of the Robson Ranch |

| 7 | 7 | | Retirement Community located just south of historic Denton in the |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Members of the Robson Ranch Women's Club meet on |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | the first Monday of each month; they provide resources for two |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | ongoing projects: Friends of the Family, a shelter for victims |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | of domestic violence, and the Denton County Food Center, which |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | provides food for families in emergency situations; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The Women's Club is making its first trip to the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | State Capitol; its members have come to experience the |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | legislative process firsthand and to talk with legislators about |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | the issues that are important to them; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Legislature, hereby recognize April 1, 2009, as Robson Ranch |

| 20 | 20 | | Women's Club Day at the State Capitol and extend to the women from |

| 21 | 21 | | the club who are visiting Austin and the Capitol best wishes for |

| 22 | 22 | | an enjoyable and memorable visit; and, be it further |

| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |

| 24 | 24 | | the Robson Ranch Women's Club as a token of esteem from the Texas |
