SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 522
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize the Southlake Chamber of Commerce on the occasion of
its 25th anniversary; and
WHEREAS, The Southlake Chamber of Commerce has throughout
its history played an important role in making the City of
Southlake a community with outstanding business opportunities
and an excellent quality of life; and
WHEREAS, Southlake has a robust economy, and it serves as a
gateway to major employment hubs throughout the Dallas-Fort
Worth Metroplex; the Southlake Chamber of Commerce has provided
vision and leadership as the city has achieved its impressive
status as home to such national companies as Sabre and Verizon
Wireless; and
WHEREAS, The Southlake Chamber of Commerce has led the way
as countless improvements have taken place in the community, and
it continues to be at the forefront as the community looks
forward to a more prosperous future; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
Legislature, hereby commend the Southlake Chamber of Commerce on
its many contributions to making Southlake a better community in
which to live, work, and raise a family and extend
congratulations to this outstanding organization on its 25th
anniversary; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
the chamber as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
