| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Born on April 2, 1925, Belia Gonzalez is the |

| 6 | 6 | | beloved matriarch of a large family that includes five daughters, |

| 7 | 7 | | Letty Botello, Linda Cirilo, Bertha Gonzalez, and Angie and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | Yvette Cervantes, two sons-in-law, Travis Botello and Joe |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Cirilo, and three grandchildren, Eddie Cirilo and Matthew and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Melina Botello; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Gonzalez is known for her hospitality, |

| 12 | 12 | | warmth, and excellent cooking skills, and as a result, her home |

| 13 | 13 | | is often full of visitors; moreover, her friendly nature and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | willingness to listen have endeared her to many; when she is not |

| 15 | 15 | | entertaining and spending time with her loved ones, she can |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | frequently be found in the company of a good book; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Through the years, Belia Gonzalez has made a |

| 18 | 18 | | positive difference in the lives of countless individuals, and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | she continues to bring joy and happiness to all who are |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | privileged to know her; now, therefore, be it |

| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st |

| 22 | 22 | | Legislature, hereby congratulate Belia Kypuros Gonzalez on the |

| 23 | 23 | | occasion of her 84th birthday and extend to her sincere best |
