| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize the Honorable Daniel T. Robles on his 10 years of |
|---|
| 4 | 4 | | outstanding service as a Cameron County judge; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, As judge of County Court at Law No. 3, Judge |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | Robles upheld the highest standards of the judicial profession |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | and consistently demonstrated fair-mindedness and sound |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | judgement in the courtroom; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A graduate of the Thurgood Marshall School of Law |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | at Texas Southern University, Judge Robles formerly served in the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Cameron County District Attorney's Office and was a practicing |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | attorney in Harlingen until becoming Cameron County judge in |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 1999; he has now retired to return to the full-time practice of |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | law; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Judge Robles is also a graduate of the Texas |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | College for Judicial Studies, where he received specialized |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | training in civil litigation; he served as the local presiding |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | administrative judge of the Cameron County Courts at Law; his |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | work beyond the courtroom included serving on several committees |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | as a member of the Texas Center for the Judiciary and serving as a |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | member of the Judicial Section Board of Directors of the State |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Bar of Texas; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, An exemplary gentleman who has distinguished |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | himself in his career, Judge Robles is highly respected by his |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | colleagues and by the courthouse staff, and his presence as judge |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | of County Court at Law No. 3 will be greatly missed; now, |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | therefore, be it |

| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Legislature, hereby commend Judge Daniel T. Robles on his |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | outstanding service to Cameron County as judge of County Court at |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | Law No. 3 and extend best wishes to him for much success in his |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | future legal profession; and, be it further |
