SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 665
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Spring Antioch Baptist Church of Spring, Texas, on the
grand occasion of its 10th anniversary, which is being celebrated
May 17, 2009; and
WHEREAS, Over the last 10 years, the Spring Antioch Baptist
Church has ministered faithfully to the needs of the citizens of
Spring, and due to the guidance and wise stewardship of its
current pastor, the Reverend Eric A. Wilson, Sr., the church has
undertaken many worthy projects in the community; and
WHEREAS, The church has also served as an invaluable source
of strength to its members during their hardships and in times of
bereavement; and
WHEREAS, The observance of the church's 10th anniversary is
an opportunity to celebrate its contributions to area citizens
and its mission of providing hope and inspiration to the
community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
Legislature, hereby extend best wishes to the clergy and members
of Spring Antioch Baptist Church on the joyous occasion of its
10th anniversary; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
the church as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
