| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize the Cleaning For A Reason Foundation for its |

| 4 | 4 | | outstanding work and to join citizens across the state in |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | celebrating April 26 through May 2, 2009, as National Cleaning |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | for a Reason Week; and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, Based in Lewisville, the Cleaning For A Reason |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | Foundation is a nonprofit organization that offers free |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | professional housecleaning services to improve the lives of |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | women undergoing treatment for cancer; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Since its inception, this exemplary organization |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | has helped more than 1,500 women receive the help they need to |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | maintain a clean home at a time when their immune system is |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | stressed and they are in particular need of a sanitary |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | environment; the foundation has enlisted the aid of more than 386 |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | maid services to carry out this mission; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Dedicated to providing the gift of a clean home to |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | women undergoing cancer treatment, thereby allowing them to |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | focus on their health, the Cleaning For A Reason Foundation |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | continues to grow as it improves the lives of women stricken with |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | this cruel disease; the foundation is truly deserving of |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | recognition for its worthy efforts on behalf of those it serves; |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Legislature, hereby commend the Cleaning For A Reason Foundation |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | for its dedication to helping women at a traumatic time in their |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | lives and extend best wishes for a memorable and successful |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | National Cleaning for a Reason Week; and, be it further |

| 29 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
