                    SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 689
 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
 recognize Lesia Diane Wimberley on the occasion of her high
 school graduation; and
 WHEREAS, Lesia has demonstrated exceptional diligence and
 determination in accomplishing the goals she set for herself, and
 she has fulfilled all the requirements for a high school diploma;
 and
 WHEREAS, In addition to meeting the standards of the Alpha
 and Omega Academy Homeschool, Lesia has demonstrated
 dependability and compassion through her community service in
 helping senior citizens and nursing homes; she practices her
 faith in her daily life and is active in various ministries at her
 church, including sharing her musical talent as a member of the
 choir; and
 WHEREAS, Having successfully faced the many challenges of
 a home school education, Lesia now embarks on an adventure for
 which she is well prepared and that holds countless exciting
 opportunities for her; and
 WHEREAS, Lesia's accomplishments bear witness to her
 dedication and outstanding abilities, and she is a source of much
 pride for her family and her community; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
 Legislature, hereby commend Lesia Diane Wimberley on her
 scholastic success and extend to her best wishes for the future
 on the occasion of her high school graduation; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
