11 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 689
22 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
33 recognize Lesia Diane Wimberley on the occasion of her high
44 school graduation; and
55 WHEREAS, Lesia has demonstrated exceptional diligence and
66 determination in accomplishing the goals she set for herself, and
77 she has fulfilled all the requirements for a high school diploma;
88 and
99 WHEREAS, In addition to meeting the standards of the Alpha
1010 and Omega Academy Homeschool, Lesia has demonstrated
1111 dependability and compassion through her community service in
1212 helping senior citizens and nursing homes; she practices her
1313 faith in her daily life and is active in various ministries at her
1414 church, including sharing her musical talent as a member of the
1515 choir; and
1616 WHEREAS, Having successfully faced the many challenges of
1717 a home school education, Lesia now embarks on an adventure for
1818 which she is well prepared and that holds countless exciting
1919 opportunities for her; and
2020 WHEREAS, Lesia's accomplishments bear witness to her
2121 dedication and outstanding abilities, and she is a source of much
2222 pride for her family and her community; now, therefore, be it
2323 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
2424 Legislature, hereby commend Lesia Diane Wimberley on her
2525 scholastic success and extend to her best wishes for the future
2626 on the occasion of her high school graduation; and, be it further
2727 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
2828 her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
