| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Lesia Diane Wimberley on the occasion of her high |

| 4 | 4 | | school graduation; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Lesia has demonstrated exceptional diligence and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | determination in accomplishing the goals she set for herself, and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | she has fulfilled all the requirements for a high school diploma; |

|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, In addition to meeting the standards of the Alpha |

| 10 | 10 | | and Omega Academy Homeschool, Lesia has demonstrated |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | dependability and compassion through her community service in |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | helping senior citizens and nursing homes; she practices her |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | faith in her daily life and is active in various ministries at her |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | church, including sharing her musical talent as a member of the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | choir; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Having successfully faced the many challenges of |

| 17 | 17 | | a home school education, Lesia now embarks on an adventure for |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | which she is well prepared and that holds countless exciting |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | opportunities for her; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Lesia's accomplishments bear witness to her |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | dedication and outstanding abilities, and she is a source of much |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | pride for her family and her community; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st |

| 24 | 24 | | Legislature, hereby commend Lesia Diane Wimberley on her |

| 25 | 25 | | scholastic success and extend to her best wishes for the future |

| 26 | 26 | | on the occasion of her high school graduation; and, be it further |
