99 AN ACT
1010 relating to the de-annexation of land in Bastrop County by the
1111 Barton Springs-Edwards Aquifer Conservation District.
1212 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1313 SECTION 1. Not later than the 30th day after the effective
1414 date of this Act, the board of the Barton Springs-Edwards Aquifer
1515 Conservation District shall declare by resolution that the
1616 territory described by Section 2 of this Act is excluded from the
1717 territory of the Barton Springs-Edwards Aquifer Conservation
1818 District. The board shall file a copy of the resolution in the
1919 office of the county clerk of the county in which the excluded
2020 territory is located. The county clerk shall record the resolution
2121 in the county records. On the date the resolution is recorded, the
2222 excluded territory is no longer part of that district.
2323 SECTION 2. The territory to be de-annexed by the Barton
2424 Springs-Edwards Aquifer Conservation District under this Act is the
2525 territory contained in the following area:
2626 BEGINNING AT A POINT at the intersection of Travis County, Bastrop
2727 County, and Caldwell County;
2828 THENCE, 1840 feet, more or less, N 48° E, along the Bastrop/Travis
2929 County Line to an angle point;
3030 THENCE, 9720 feet, more or less, S 47° E, passing State Highway 21 to
3131 an angle point;
3232 THENCE, 1670 feet, more or less, S 70° W, to an angle point in the
3333 Bastrop/Caldwell County Line;
3434 THENCE, 8840 feet, more or less, N 43° W, along the Bastrop/Caldwell
3535 County Line and passing State Highway 21 to the Point of Beginning.
3636 All of the area enclosed by this description is in Bastrop County
3737 and totals approximately 410 acres.

4141 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
4242 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
4343 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
4444 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
4545 Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
