12 | 12 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

13 | 13 | | SECTION 1. Not later than the 30th day after the effective |
---|
14 | 14 | | date of this Act, the board of the Barton Springs-Edwards Aquifer |
---|
15 | 15 | | Conservation District shall declare by resolution that the |
---|
16 | 16 | | territory described by Section 2 of this Act is excluded from the |
---|
17 | 17 | | territory of the Barton Springs-Edwards Aquifer Conservation |
---|
18 | 18 | | District. The board shall file a copy of the resolution in the |
---|
19 | 19 | | office of the county clerk of the county in which the excluded |
---|
20 | 20 | | territory is located. The county clerk shall record the resolution |
---|
21 | 21 | | in the county records. On the date the resolution is recorded, the |
---|
22 | 22 | | excluded territory is no longer part of that district. |
---|
23 | 23 | | SECTION 2. The territory to be de-annexed by the Barton |
---|
24 | 24 | | Springs-Edwards Aquifer Conservation District under this Act is the |
---|
25 | 25 | | territory contained in the following area: |
---|
26 | 26 | | BEGINNING AT A POINT at the intersection of Travis County, Bastrop |
---|
27 | 27 | | County, and Caldwell County; |
---|
28 | 28 | | THENCE, 1840 feet, more or less, N 48° E, along the Bastrop/Travis |
---|
29 | 29 | | County Line to an angle point; |
---|
30 | 30 | | THENCE, 9720 feet, more or less, S 47° E, passing State Highway 21 to |
---|
31 | 31 | | an angle point; |
---|
32 | 32 | | THENCE, 1670 feet, more or less, S 70° W, to an angle point in the |
---|
33 | 33 | | Bastrop/Caldwell County Line; |
---|
34 | 34 | | THENCE, 8840 feet, more or less, N 43° W, along the Bastrop/Caldwell |
---|
35 | 35 | | County Line and passing State Highway 21 to the Point of Beginning. |

36 | 36 | | All of the area enclosed by this description is in Bastrop County |

37 | 37 | | and totals approximately 410 acres. |
