| 13 | 13 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 14 | 14 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 442, Government Code, is |

| 15 | 15 | | amended by adding Section 442.024 to read as follows: |

| 16 | 16 | | Sec. 442.024. SCENIC LOOP ROAD--BOERNE STAGE ROAD--TOUTANT |

| 17 | 17 | | BEAUREGARD ROAD HISTORIC CORRIDOR. (a) The commission shall |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | designate as a historic corridor the corridor that follows part of |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | the Old Spanish Trail automobile highway in Bexar County and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | consists of four legs. The first leg begins at State Highway 16 in |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Helotes and continues north on the Scenic Loop Road to the |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | intersection of the Boerne Stage Road and the Toutant Beauregard |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Road. The second leg begins at the Boerne Stage Road in Leon |

| 24 | 24 | | Springs and continues west to the intersection of the Scenic Loop |

| 25 | 25 | | Road and the Toutant Beauregard Road. The third leg begins at the |

| 26 | 26 | | intersection of the Scenic Loop Road, the Boerne Stage Road, and the |
