1010 relating to the qualifications to serve as a special peace officer
1111 at a polling place.
1212 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1313 SECTION 1. Section 32.075, Election Code, is amended by
1414 adding Subsection (f) to read as follows:
1515 (f) A person is eligible for appointment as a special peace
1616 officer under Subsection (b) only if the person is licensed as a
1717 peace officer by the Commission on Law Enforcement Officer
1818 Standards and Education.
1919 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
