A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to a requirement that interviews conducted in connection
with school district personnel matters be recorded by a certified
shorthand reporter.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 11.1513, Education Code, is amended by
adding Subsection (k) to read as follows:
(k) The employment policy must provide that any interview
conducted in connection with the investigation of a district
personnel matter be recorded by a certified shorthand reporter.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
