The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the authority of a pharmacist to dispense up to a 90-day supply of dangerous drugs and accelerate refills. Based on the analysis of the Board of Pharmacy, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
